Match Preview: Shebeen Boys vs Helderberg

Having missed out on rugby last week due to power issues, along with an extended tunnel fines, it feels as though we haven’t played a game of rugby in while. This week we make the Groot Trek out to Helderberg to kick start the long weekend. This one is extra special as the prawn himself, Richi Connear is in town and is looking forward to seeing what we have to offer for the 2015 season.

No players to look out for from last weeks rugby performance but Lee Nicholson again impressed as he took over the duties of the pourer in his first ever tunnel fines. Bob Bedingham makes a return after his extended honey moon and the likes of LT makes his debut for the mighty Shebeen. Talk of the town though is that the great Ant Selley Bamabalam is making a return after a year of absence, highly skilful and can fill up a bath tub in a matter of minutes 😉

Due to an overflow of backs in the Shebeen boys there has been a call for change, a few returns as well as a few new combinations being tested. Richard Stemmet, Callan Souma and Derri Page move to the bench, young gun Troy Cunningham steps into the number 10 jersey, Nick Adrianatos makes another return on the wing and Devon Van Schalkwyk teams up with Matt van Eden in the centres. Warren Hill misses out this week and is replaced by Toes Terblanche at 15.

Good luck Shebeen, surely a 5 pointer on offer, bring it home.
