Match Preview: Shebeen Boys vs MC Marais

After last weeks upset against Durbell the Shebeen Boys are looking forward to coming out in full force. Playing UCT is always a great fixture, returning to our roots, the birth place of the mighty Shebeen 13 years ago. Having demolished the tunnel on many occasions there is nothing more exciting than the feeling of celebrating a victory in the cold tunnel…. Only the strongest will survive.

Players to watch out for in the forwards, Man of the Match last week, young Lee Nicholson continues to impress week in and week out, although he can’t see much Lee has been a great find for this year on and off the field. With some boys off sick we see the likes of our lucky charm Richi Den Das enter the starting line. A great face to see back in Shebeen colours is that of Biggie Smalls, helping the boys out on his off weekend, amongst others.

The backs are once again spoilt for choice, Kyle Williamson, Devon van Schalkwyk and Courtney “the box jump king” Chase playing their firsts games this season. A big return for us is that of Nick Adrianatos who is making time to play ruggas between his imminent white collar fight night. Warren Hill, who has proven to be our lethal weapon, always coming from behind and showing loads of pace and skill out wide is one too look out for.

Good luck Shebeen, let the boys play and have jol…… Tunnel Fines!!
