MATCH REPORT: 2nd XV vs Hamlets

What a day! Hamlets came out firing from the kick off and were leading just 5 min after the ref issued a yellow card to our number 12 for hands in the ruck.  Villagers kept their composure and were soon over the white wash to equal the score.

It was a massive drive from a line out by the forwards that saw Villagers once more take the lead but soon afterwards we gave Hamlets an opportunity to equal the score.  This all happened because of a fumble in our twenty two.  The half time score was 12-12.

Lups had some stern words to say during the break and the boys came out firing.  The forwards dominated and allowed our backline the space to perform their magic which then opened  the flood gates. The final try was definitely the try of the match, and probably of the season.  It all started in our twenty two and was a result of the interlink play between the forwards and backline. The final score was 40-12
